Electracade Software Review
Since 2004, Electracade has been developing online casino games. Instead of trying to compete with the bigger online casino developers in terms of high-quality graphics or having a ton of titles, they have carved out their own niche with games that run well and look good no matter what kind of computer you’re playing on. While their games aren’t the absolute best in terms of graphics and sound, there’s nothing wrong with them in the least bit, and you’ll never have to worry about their software bogging down your computer or hogging a lot of system resources. This is a major advantage.
Selection of Games
The first thing every online casino fan wants to know about is the game selection. they have plenty of video slots that are of a decent quality, and they often cover brands and themes that are pretty atypical. Their Legally Blonde game is a good example of a license that you wouldn’t necessarily expect to see in an online casino, and Highlander (video below) is another example of a game licensed on a hit movie. The don’t just rely on big brands though. Their Alien Autopsy slot is based around the 1947 incident in Roswell (video below), and it’s a lot of fun.
The Casino Software
The Electracade software itself is built around the premise of giving players a smooth experience with enjoyable games. What you’ll find when you play their games is that they don’t actually have their own software platform. Instead, they focus all of their efforts on building great games, and they host those games on a number of different software platforms. OpenBet is their parent company, and they often run their games on OpenBet’s platform. However, this isn’t the only platform that their games appear on, and this helps to give them a lot of exposure to a wide range of players.
Focus on Variety
Variety is the name of the game with Electracade. Most software developers in the online casino industry focus almost exclusively on slots and very rarely come out with other types of games. Electracade has broken away from the pack by offering up a wide range of different types of games. While they do have video slots, they do not dominate in numbers like what you’ll find in most online casinos. Instead, they offer a “Unique Propositions” section with some really atypical games that are a great change of pace from the usual experience.
As you can see from the above, Electracade is concerned more with innovation and breaking away from the pack than what you find with most software developers. Along these lines, they have cool additions to normal games that add depth to the experience. For example, their blackjack games offer a computerized female dealer that actually deals out the action much like what you would find in a land-based casino. This isn’t going to match the experience of live dealer casinos in terms of interaction and the social factor, but it’s still very interesting.
